Here are 1 idea from me, 1 learning from others, and 1 question for you to ponder this week.
1 Idea from Me
The cult of multi-tasking🚀
Did you know that only 2% of us are supertaskers?
Supertaskers are able to complete two tasks simultaneously without impacting their effectiveness. Most of us can't multi-task effectively. David Strayer, a professor of psychology did a study in 2012. He found that drivers using cell phones, even hands-free devices, were at just as high a risk of accidents as intoxicated ones.
Here are 4 things you can do, to remove distraction cues. Removing cues from your environment is much easier than managing cues. If you can't see the cue, you can't crave for them.
- Set up time-blocks and focus on doing one task at a time.
- Put your phone away when you are at work.
- Use notification summary on your phone to reduce distractions.
- Use social media purposefully. Put a 5-minute timer for mindless scrolling. Some people say you shouldn't do it but I think as with most things in life, doing them in moderation is okay.
If you want to gain more time and achieve more things in life, prioritise accordingly, start mono-tasking.
I am definitely a mono-tasker, what about you?
1 Learning from Others
Knowledge
Knowledge is a double-edged sword. It allows you to do some things, but it also makes you blind to other things you could do.

1 Question for You to Ponder
What is your transformative purpose?
Transformative purpose is the intersection between doing what you love, learning to be better, and showing up to inspire others to become better.
